Why choose me to be your translator or interpreter?

AN EXPERT IN MY FIELD...

Having graduated from Aston University with a first class honours degree in BSc Translation Studies Spanish, you’ll be entrusting your projects with a highly qualified, dedicated linguist who is extremely well-versed in each of his specialist fields. Upon completion of my studies, I was also awarded the ‘School Prize in Final Year Modern Languages/Translation Studies’ in recognition of my exceptional academic performance and linguistic talent.

CULTURALLY AWARE...

The cornerstone of any good translator’s armoury is their sophisticated cultural awareness — and that I have in abundance. After graduating, I moved to sunnier climes, returning to my beloved Murcia in south-eastern Spain — the city where I undertook a teaching assistantship one year prior. On my return, I secured a position with a localisation company where I combined the roles of translation project manager and in-house translator. Tasked with coordinating and overseeing the entire life cycle of multilingual projects from initial customer enquiry through to final project delivery, I would simultaneously translate texts from a wide range of specialist domains, a reflection of not only my ability to multitask successfully and meet tight deadlines, but also my fast, accurate writing skills.

BOASTING AN EVER-EXPANDING CLIENT BASE...

Since returning to the UK, I have built up and consolidated a network of agency and direct clients from around the globe. I also work for one of the UK’s largest translation companies as a translation project manager, a company for whom I also regularly translate.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE...

Needless to say, translation is a subject that has always been very close to my heart, and not only does my expertise and solid know-how allow me to produce translations of the highest quality, but my vast experience in translation project management means I really know how to look after my clients.
